Zig Zag railway station is a regional railway station on the Blue Mountains Line of the CityRail intercity network in the Upper Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. There has been a station at this location since 1878.[1]

The station is the connection point for passengers to the major tourist attraction, the Zig Zag Railway. Passengers can travel by CityRail train to this stop, and change to the Bottom Points Station of the Zig Zag Railway, and travel up the Zig Zag to Clarence at the other end, which has no rail access, and is where people travelling by car arrive at the Zig Zag Railway. The stop has no road access except for maintenance vehicles coming from Lithgow, and hence is only used when the Zig Zag railway is operating (ie. not in the early morning or at night.) Due to the small number of passengers using the station, which is no longer than a large desk, the station is designated an 'a' stop, meaning passengers need to inform the guard and travel at the rear carriage of the train if alighting.

The station is not staffed.
